Why Selkie?
In folklore, Selkies are mythical beings who live as seals in the sea and shed their skins to take human form on land. Their stories often explore themes of transformation, identity, belonging, and the pull to return to one's true nature.
That symbolism inspired Selkie Esthetics, because skincare is not about changing who you are; it's about caring for yourself in a way that feels restorative, intentional, and supportive of healthy skin.
